Why Choose HZS Global for Your Nigeria Project?

Nigeria's construction industry is growing rapidly, with major infrastructure projects across Lagos, Abuja, and Port Harcourt. HZS Global provides factory-direct concrete batching plants to Nigerian contractors and construction companies, saving up to 30% compared to local dealers.

We have successfully supplied and installed HZS60, HZS90, and HZS120 plants across Nigeria. All plants are CE certified, built to European quality standards, and shipped with full documentation for Nigerian customs clearance.

Nigeria's Construction Market Right Now

Nigeria is one of the largest concrete markets in Africa, and the demand is spread across three very different segments. Commercial and residential building in Lagos and Abuja keeps ready-mix suppliers busy on relatively short pours. Road, bridge and drainage works in the south and middle belt need mobile output that follows the job. Industrial and energy-related construction around Port Harcourt and the free trade zones brings heavier, more continuous demand.

All three segments share the same constraint: imported equipment has to clear customs cleanly and be supported with spare parts once it is running. That is the part most suppliers get wrong.

SONCAP and Customs Clearance

Nigeria enforces the SONCAP programme (Standards Organisation of Nigeria Conformity Assessment Programme). Concrete batching plants fall under regulated products, so the shipment needs a valid SONCAP certificate before it reaches Apapa, Tin Can Island or Onne. We arrange product certification and factory inspection before loading — the certificate travels with the documents, not after them.

Shipping and Site Logistics

A plant ships in 2-4 × 40ft containers depending on silo configuration, plus flat-rack or breakbulk for the silos themselves. Transit is typically 30-45 days. From the port, a low-bed trailer handles the main frame and silos; where roads cannot take the load we split the frame into sections at the factory and re-assemble on site.

Power, Heat and Site Conditions

Two site conditions matter more in Nigeria than almost anywhere: grid voltage swings and ambient heat. An electric motor rated for 40°C ambient loses 10-15% of its rated power when the site is running hotter, so we size drives with headroom rather than to the nominal figure. We also ship voltage stabilisers and surge protection as standard on Nigerian orders, and can quote a standby generator matched to the plant.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does a batching plant cost in Nigeria?

FOB China prices are roughly $45,000-$75,000 for an HZS60, $65,000-$95,000 for an HZS90, $85,000-$130,000 for an HZS120 and $120,000-$180,000 for an HZS180. Budget 1.15-1.22x CIF for import duty (5-10%), 7.5% VAT and clearance at Lagos or Onne.

What is SONCAP and do I need it?

SONCAP (Standards Organisation of Nigeria Conformity Assessment Programme) is mandatory for regulated products including concrete batching plants. Without a valid SONCAP certificate your plant will not clear Nigerian customs. We arrange the product certification and inspection before shipment.

Which port do you ship to in Nigeria?

Apapa and Tin Can Island in Lagos for most projects, and Onne for Port Harcourt and eastern sites. Transit time from China is about 30-45 days, and a plant loads into 2-4 × 40ft containers depending on silo configuration.

Which model suits a Nigerian project?

Housing estates and commercial buildings generally suit an HZS60 or HZS90. For large infrastructure — roads, dams, airport works — an HZS120 or HZS180 gives the output and the automation that long pours require.

Do you supply and install plants across Nigeria?

Yes. We have supplied and installed HZS60, HZS90 and HZS120 plants across Nigeria. Supply covers factory acceptance testing, shipping, SONCAP documentation, and on-site installation with operator training.

What about power supply on Nigerian sites?

Grid instability is common, so we recommend a voltage stabiliser plus a standby generator sized to the plant (about 250 kVA for an HZS120). Control panels are fitted with surge protection as standard.
